Core + profiles
systems, finance, fwm, tpr, ac, eoe, sbc, and client-boards extend wtf-core; rep extends client-boards.
Fleet vocabulary architecture · decision draft
A contract for what the fleet means—not another list of repos and domains. wtf-core owns stable classes and relations; the shared sys: catalog names reusable systems; child schemes own their actual accounts, properties, stores, and private integrations.
The decision
One parent edge, three legal extension modes, one resolver, and no override semantics.
systems, finance, fwm, tpr, ac, eoe, sbc, and client-boards extend wtf-core; rep extends client-boards.
Classes use subclassing, concepts use SKOS relations, and organizations, people, boards, and cards remain instances.
The live database/API owns operational terms. A fleet registry declares lineage and constraints; it never hand-copies REP.
Extension map
It does not imply legal hierarchy, ownership, trust, or infrastructure. Arrows point from child profile to parent contract.
REP proves the board mechanism in production; finance-mgmt proves the account, ledger, payment, and payroll model; ac and eoe supply profile evidence; fleet repositories establish the systems catalog. The cross-fleet extends declarations remain the architecture proposed here.
Versioned manifests now resolve core, guides and local site terms with provenance. This validates vocabulary inheritance, not operational entity records.

wtf-core
The earlier draft mixed ontology, controlled vocabulary, and factual records. The core connects them without conflating them.
What kind of thing is this? Classes narrow with rdfs:subClassOf; instances use rdf:type.
Which controlled term applies? Concepts use skos:inScheme, hierarchy, and cross-scheme mappings.
Flywheel, a person, a client board, and a card consume the model. They do not become classes by being important.

Correction: an Engagement is not an Organization, and a board is not an engagement. A board is a digital surface for an engagement; that belongs in cb:boardFor, not the class tree.
Normative inheritance rule
Private means locally scoped, not confidential. There is no fourth mode called override, redefine, or shadow.
Reference the ancestor term. Do not copy its definition or mint a synonym.
Use rdfs:subClassOf for classes, skos:broadMatch across concept schemes, and skos:broader within one scheme.
Mint in the child namespace with no ancestor mapping. It is available only in that child's effective vocabulary.
Why skos:broadMatch? SKOS provides mapping properties for alignment between schemes. Using skos:broader everywhere hides the boundary this model is meant to expose.
Canonical relation registry
Governance, model, domain, and board relations are separate. Domain and range are enforceable guardrails.
| Predicate | Domain → range | Contract |
|---|---|---|
| Scheme governance + concept mapping | ||
fw:extendsScheme | ConceptScheme → ConceptScheme | Custom direct-parent edge. The resolver computes ancestry. |
skos:inScheme | Concept → ConceptScheme | Declares the concept's home. Reuse does not change it. |
skos:broader / narrower | Concept ↔ Concept | Hierarchy inside one scheme. |
skos:broadMatch / narrowMatch | Concept ↔ Concept | Hierarchical mapping across schemes. |
skos:exactMatch | Concept ↔ Concept | Equivalent meaning under distinct IDs. Do not use instead of reuse. |

fin:usesRail | Payment or Payout → Concept | The movement rail—separate from the system that observes or reconciles it. |
fin:reconciledVia | LedgerEntry → SystemInstance | Provenance for observation through Plaid, Airwallex, statement import, or manual entry. |
fin:hasAllocation | LedgerEntry → Allocation | N-ary allocation carrying target accounting scope and basis-point weight. |

cb:boardFor | ClientBoard → Engagement | Board-to-engagement relationship. |
cb:hasPillar | ClientBoard → PillarDefinition | Ordered outcome axis; a card has ≥1 and the first is primary. |
cb:hasDimension | ClientBoard → DimensionDefinition | Named cross-cutting facet with allowed values. |
cb:classifiedUnder | Opportunity → Concept | Assigns the opportunity to a pillar concept. |
cb:hasFacetAssignment | Opportunity → FacetAssignment | Keyed dimension/value assignment; maps to REP's dimensions_json. |
Unresolved: subsidiary and brand predicates require verified corporate facts. The model must not turn uncertainty about fwm's legal status into a canonical example.
Shared systems catalog · sys:
This first pass comes from source and configuration across the fleet, excluding dependencies and generated output. A product is promoted to sys: when multiple independent repositories use it or when it is centrally operated.
sys:ga4A stable fleet catalog entry typed fw:SystemProduct. It contains no property ID, credentials, client, or account state.
eoe:ga4-propertyA real fw:SystemInstance linked to sys:ga4 and eoe:website. Access and identifiers stay in the owning profile.
sys:measurementA SKOS concept assigned with fw:hasFunction. Products may have several functions, so category is not hard-coded inheritance.

Finance extension · fin:
Derived from the live finance_mgmt schema, its migrations, adapters, and production-safe aggregates. The MariaDB database remains authoritative for operational records; this profile defines what those records mean.
A financial account has a holder, provider, kind, currency, and lifecycle. Ledger projection and account directory are distinct views.
Registered holder, operator, payer, beneficiary, employer, and approver are separate roles. Attribution never changes ownership.
Payment, payout, transfer, installment, rail, observation source, reconciliation, and settlement each get one meaning.
Billing, ledger, expenses, subscriptions, and payroll use one controlled vocabulary without deciding tax or employment status.

Application allowlists
These values come from finance-mgmt application code rather than MariaDB enums. The authority column states whether the API validates them or merely offers them in the UI.
| Surface | Values | Authority |
|---|---|---|
| Account lifecycle | Active, Paused, Closed, Open, Pending Verification, Unknown | API-validated allowlist over a VARCHAR column. |
| Invoice category | advertorial, retainer, sponsorship, service, other | UI suggestions; custom free text remains legal. |
| Currency | USD, EUR, PHP, VND, GBP, SGD, AUD, CAD, CHF, JPY | UI suggestions; valid three-letter currencies are not limited to this list. |
| Dedup review state | none, duplicate, review, discrepancy | API-validated editing allowlist. |
| Subscription billing mode | Monthly Fee, Quarterly Fee, Yearly Fee, Bi-yearly Fee, Pay as you Go, Credit Based, Monthly Usage, Lifetime Fee, One-time Fee, Family Plan Monthly, Free, Free Grandfathered, Trial Only | Datalist suggestions over free text. |
| Subscription type | AI, Software, Office, Server, Storage, Security, Development, Communications, Data, Network, Travel, Social Media, PR, Learning, Entertainment, Finance, Health, Mobile Apps, Desktop App | Datalist suggestions over free text. |
Interpretation rule: presence in an enum means the value is structurally accepted—not that the capability is active. For example, wise is accepted as a payout method and rail while no live Wise adapter currently exists.
Account model
The production schema intentionally has a ledger-facing accounts table and a broader bank_accounts directory. A resolver can map records from both to the same protected account instance.
| Canonical term | Current source | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
fin:LedgerAccount | accounts | The account dimension used by ledger entries, invoices, reconciliation, reporting scopes, and money-movement views. |
fin:HoldingAccount | bank_accounts | The wider “where value is parked” directory across organizational and personal holders, including bank, brokerage, crypto, card, wallet, payment-app, and loan records. |
fin:AccountHolderRole | account_holders + holder_identities | Connects an Agent to an account under a registered identity. Jurisdictional identity is not a separate person. |
fin:AccountingScope | entities | A billing/reporting workspace. It can describe an organization or a person's finance scope, so the table name must not be interpreted as proof that every row is a legal entity. |
fin:Allocation | ledger_entity_splits | Assigns an entry to one or more scopes in basis points. Allocation answers “who bears this?”—not “who owns the funding account?” |
fin:BalanceSnapshot | bank_accounts.balance_cents + balance_date | A reported balance at a date. It is not reconstructed by blindly summing a multi-currency ledger. |
fin:fw-airwallex-usdSafe organizational account alias
fin:LedgerAccountfin:multi-currency-account; native ledger currency USDfin:fw-airwallex → sys:airwallexfin:eoe-boa-small-businessSafe organizational account alias
fin:LedgerAccount + fin:HoldingAccountfin:bank-account; native currency USDProtected account adapter: production currently contains organizational and personal account records beyond the two safe aliases above. Full labels, personal institutions, suffixes, account/routing numbers, balances, addresses, login identifiers, crypto addresses, staff payout destinations, and provider references stay behind finance.tfw.bz and are never rendered into this static site.
Payment options
The current database enums combine some of these ideas. The canonical vocabulary separates them so future integrations remain comparable.
| Concept | Current mechanism | Contract |
|---|---|---|
| Movement rails and methods | ||
fin:hosted-payment-link | Airwallex-hosted checkout | Client-facing collection method; the provider handles supported card/bank options. |
fin:bank-transfer | Local/SEPA, ACH, wire, or SWIFT | Generic account-to-account movement. The concrete clearing route is a narrower concept. |
fin:paypal-payout | PayPal Payouts adapter | Supported programmatic staff payout method. |
fin:airwallex-local | Airwallex payments/create, local/SEPA default | Primary programmatic bank payout route; source amount and provider fee are recorded separately. |
fin:crypto-transfer | Manually executed, separately recorded rail | A payment rail, not an account type; asset and network belong to the destination account/method. |
fin:manual-settlement | Operator records an out-of-band movement | Fallback that still posts an auditable ledger entry. |
fin:wise-transfer | Declared payout-method value; no active adapter | Available vocabulary, not a claim that the integration is operational. |
| Observation and reconciliation sources | ||
fin:airwallex-feed | sys:airwallex | Provider-native transaction and payout observations. |
fin:plaid-sync | sys:plaid | Read-only transaction observation; Plaid is not the payment rail. |
fin:statement-import | OFX / QBO / CSV | Manual ingestion and reconciliation backstop. |
fin:manual-entry | Protected finance UI | Human-authored source with audit provenance. |
Controlled glossary
These definitions describe the system's records and workflows. They are not accounting, tax, employment, or legal advice.
| Term | Definition | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Accounts, ledger, and attribution | ||
fin:financial-account | A named place where money or another financial asset is held, owed, or transacted. | Provider, currency, and account kind are separate properties. |
fin:account-holder | The Agent under whose registered identity the account is held. | Do not infer beneficial ownership or operating control. |
fin:ledger | The ordered accounting record of signed money movements. | It records movements; it is not the account itself. |
fin:ledger-entry | One dated, signed movement in one currency against a ledger account. | Positive is inflow; negative is outflow in finance-mgmt. |
fin:allocation | A weighted assignment of an entry or subscription to an accounting scope. | Allocation can be split; ownership cannot be changed by allocation. |
fin:expense-bucket | A controlled reporting category applied to a cost entry. | Separate from company/personal/mixed attribution. |
fin:reconciliation | Matching an observed money movement to the invoice, payout, cost, or transfer it settles. | Observation can be automatic while the final match remains manual. |
| Billing and money movement | ||
fin:invoice | A document requesting payment from a client for an issuing accounting scope. | One global sequence; entity code is a suffix in finance-mgmt. |
fin:installment | One scheduled part of a single invoice. | Not a cross-entity revenue split. |
fin:incoming-payment | Money received and optionally matched to an invoice or installment. | The payment record and its ledger entry are related but distinct. |
fin:payout | An execution attempt that sends money to a beneficiary through a rail. | Retries are separate attempts and must be idempotent. |
fin:transfer | A movement between accounts that does not itself establish revenue or expense. | Intercompany treatment requires explicit journals, not inference. |
fin:settlement | The state in which a provider confirms the movement has completed. | “Sent” or dispatched is not necessarily settled. |
fin:subscription | A recurring or usage-based commitment to a product or service. | Credentials remain in OpenBao/Vaultwarden; finance stores pointers only. |
| Payroll and people payments | ||
fin:payroll | The controlled process that turns approved staff work or recurring pay into payslips, payouts, and ledger entries. | The term does not decide employee versus contractor classification. |
fin:pay-run | An approval-gated batch of payslips for a period and optional paying scope. | Draft, collecting, approved, paying, closed, or void. |
fin:payslip | The per-person pay record and rendered payment document within a pay run. | For contractors the rendered document may function as their invoice to the company. |
fin:gross-pay | Pay before recorded deductions. | Amounts remain in their stated currency. |
fin:deduction | An explicit reduction from gross to net, including a staff-borne provider fee when configured. | Does not imply tax withholding. |
fin:net-pay | The amount intended to land with the payee after recorded deductions. | The funding account debit may differ because of FX or payer-side fees. |
fin:payout-method | A person's selected destination method, such as bank, PayPal, Airwallex, Wise, or crypto wallet. | Sensitive destination details live in OpenBao. |
fin:viable-method | A payout method with enough validated information to attempt a send. | Viable does not mean a payout was sent or settled. |
fin:employer-of-record | The organization recorded as paying/employing scope for a staff relationship. | Assert only from an approved operational source; not inferred from cost allocation. |
Tax boundary: tax treatment, withholding, contractor classification, beneficial ownership, and legal-entity status remain evidence-gated. Current placeholder fields and planning notes are not promoted into canonical facts without accountant or documentary confirmation.
Authority: finance_mgmt MariaDB owns accounts, ledger entries, invoices, subscriptions, payroll, payouts, and audit state. The taxonomy adapter exports stable IDs, safe labels, types, and relations; it must omit financial values and protected identifiers.
Technology Business Management · reference mapping
The TBM Council Taxonomy 5.0.1 supplies a common cost vocabulary. This is a Flywheel crosswalk to that framework, not a copy of its full taxonomy or a claim that allocations are live.
| TBM layer | Question | Flywheel mapping |
|---|---|---|
| Cost pools | What was bought? | finance_mgmt.ledger_entries is the actual-spend source; subscriptions describe commitments. Expense buckets need a reviewed crosswalk to TBM pools such as staffing, software and cloud services. |
| Resource towers | What technology capacity did it fund? | Map a cost to compute, storage, applications, security or another tower only when the expense and use support that classification. Shared bills can be split. |
| Solutions | Which service or product uses that capacity? | fw:SystemInstance identifies a deployment; fw:SystemProduct identifies its reusable product. A proposed service-costing model links cost portions to those records. |
| Consumers | Who uses or benefits from the solution? | We The Flywheel (WTF), Flywheel Motion (FWM), Thomas Prommer (TPR), a named client engagement, and personal use are separate consumer views. A payer or account holder is not automatically the consumer. |
Boundaries: the ledger's entity split records financial attribution, while a TBM service split would explain operational use. Keep both and reconcile them; do not infer legal ownership, tax treatment, intercompany charges or client profitability from a service allocation. Record unassigned amounts rather than inventing percentages.
TBM Council sources: TBM Model and Allocation Methods. The fin and sys machine profiles remain reference-only; this mapping does not add transaction data or a new machine contract.

Mirrors how fin:FinancialAccount subclasses fw:Entity directly rather than WorkItem or ContentAsset, because a claim is a factual assertion record, not a task or piece of editorial content. | Narrow · rdfs:subClassOf fw:Entity. |
Verification Evidencesbc:VerificationEvidence | An artifact or access grant (API key, dashboard link, screenshot, attestation) that supports an sbc:RevenueClaim at a stated strength level. | Narrow · rdfs:subClassOf fw:DigitalAsset. |
Race Entrysbc:RaceEntry | A founder or business's tracked placement in an SBC leaderboard/race, moving through a lifecycle the way an opportunity moves through a client board. Mirrors cb:Opportunity subclassing fw:WorkItem for the same reason: it is a trackable item with state, not a static classification. | Narrow · rdfs:subClassOf fw:WorkItem. |

| How the business charges money for what it sells. Distinct from fin: money-movement vocabulary (fin:bank-transfer, fin:hosted-payment-link, etc.), which describes how a payment is executed once a charge exists -- not what kind of commercial arrangement generated it. fin:Subscription (a class describing a recurring commitment as a record) and sbc:revenue-model-subscription (a concept classifying a business's monetization strategy) describe the same underlying idea at different layers (instance/record vs. controlled vocabulary/classification), so this concept is kept local rather than mapped as a narrowing of a class. | ||

| Claim verification level · sbc:claim-verification · weakest to strongest | ||
| The grade of a revenue claim: how strongly its figure is substantiated. Ordered weakest to strongest; the leaderboard band narrows as the grade rises. Search Console access is not a grade (see sbc:supporting-evidence). | ||
1 · Self-reported textsbc:claim-verification-self-reported-text | The founder states the figure in words, with no corroborating artifact. | Private. Product values: self-reported-text, unverified. |
2 · Self-reported screenshotsbc:claim-verification-self-reported-screenshot | The founder publishes a screenshot of a revenue dashboard. The image is unverifiable at source. | Private. Product values: self-reported-screenshot, screenshot. |
3 · Press-reportedsbc:claim-verification-press-reported | An independent press or media outlet reports the figure. | Private. Product values: press-reported. |
4 · Public dashboardsbc:claim-verification-public-dashboard | A live, publicly accessible dashboard published by the business shows the metric. | Private. Product values: public-dashboard. |
5 · Payment-processor verifiedsbc:claim-verification-payment-processor | The figure is read at source from Stripe, Paddle or Lemon Squeezy, through a restricted read-only key granted to the verifier or a TrustMRR connection. | Private. Product values: trustmrr, stripe-readonly. TrustMRR is a Stripe-connected read verification, so it shares this grade rather than forming its own. |
6 · Open bankingsbc:claim-verification-open-banking | Monthly inflows are read from a read-only open-banking account-information consent with any provider, or from a redacted bank statement. | Private. Product values: open-banking. Broader than fin:plaid-sync (Plaid only), so it is private rather than a narrowing. |
7 · Accountant attestationsbc:claim-verification-accountant-attestation | A named, credentialed accountant signs a letter stating revenue for a named period. | Private. Product values: accountant-attestation, accountant-letter. Private, not a narrowing of fin:manual-entry, which describes internal operator entries in finance-mgmt. |

Search Console read accesssbc:supporting-evidence-gsc-readonly | Read-only Google Search Console access to the business's domain, granted to a verifier. Evidences traffic, not revenue. | Private. Product values: gsc-readonly. Concepts cannot skos:broadMatch a fw:SystemProduct, so the link to sys:gsc is made at the instance layer: the sbc:VerificationEvidence record uses fw:usesSystem. |
Registry matchsbc:supporting-evidence-registry-match | The business and founder match a public company registry record (name, officers, status). Evidences who owns the business, not its revenue. | Private. Product values: registry-match. |

Namespace correction: the 34-value REP Systems dimension is operational client data, not the shared fleet catalog. Shared products resolve to sys:; REP-only products, deployments, access state, and detected scripts resolve to rep:.
Implementation contract
Static profiles can keep terms in a manifest. Dynamic profiles expose an adapter from their authoritative store.
